By accessing or using the website at sanmarcosasphaltpaving.com, or by requesting services from San Marcos Asphalt Paving, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or engage our services.
These terms apply to all visitors, users, and customers of San Marcos Asphalt Paving.
San Marcos Asphalt Paving provides asphalt paving, sealcoating, repair, and related services for residential and commercial properties in San Diego County, California. Our services include but are not limited to: asphalt paving and resurfacing, sealcoating, crack sealing, pothole repair, parking lot striping, grading, drainage, and concrete work.
All services are subject to availability, project scope assessment, and execution of a written agreement or proposal before work begins.
We provide free written estimates for all projects following an on-site assessment. Estimates are based on conditions observed at the time of the visit and are subject to change if site conditions differ materially from what was assessed, or if the scope of work changes at the request of the customer.
An estimate is not a binding contract. Work will not begin until a written proposal or work order has been signed by both parties. Pricing in a signed proposal is binding for the scope and conditions described in that document.
Additional charges may apply if unforeseen conditions are discovered during work (such as base failure not visible at the time of estimate). We will notify you before proceeding with any work that falls outside the agreed scope.
We schedule jobs based on availability and weather conditions. We reserve the right to reschedule work if conditions are not suitable for the type of service being performed (for example, rain during or within 24 hours of planned sealcoating or paving). We will notify you as early as possible if a rescheduling is necessary.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations made after materials have been ordered or crew time has been allocated may be subject to a cancellation fee as described in your written proposal.
Payment terms are specified in your written proposal. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due upon completion of the project. For larger commercial projects, we may require a deposit before work begins, which will be outlined in the proposal.
Accepted payment methods will be communicated to you during the estimate process. Invoices not paid within the agreed timeframe may be subject to late fees as described in your contract.
Disputes about charges must be raised in writing within 10 days of receiving an invoice. Failure to raise a dispute within that window is deemed acceptance of the invoice.
We stand behind the quality of our work. Warranty terms vary by service type and are specified in your written proposal or work order. In general:
If you believe there is a workmanship issue covered under your warranty, contact us in writing within the warranty period and we will assess and address it promptly.
To allow work to proceed properly, you agree to:
